Commercial Property Advisors QRE have succesfully completed the sale of a .13 Acre development site in Malahide, Co Dublin, using their unique online bidding tool to close out the private treaty campaign.
The private treaty campaign produced four interested parties with bidding opeing at €800k. QRE closed out the sale last Friday with the highest bid on the day standing at €907,000. Contracts were signed and exchanged on the same day and the sale is scheduled to close later this week.
The site had the benefit of 2 previous planning permissions, both of which had expired, and represented a rare opportunity to undertake a development in the heart of Malahide Village. The site was zoned towncentre with a variety of uses permissable. A private investor purchased the site and it is understood that a mixed use development is being considered.
