He is well known within the Irish property sector having previously been Managing Director of the Gunne Residential Group. Paul McElearney heads up QRE Advisory and brings to the role his extensive property experience and knowledge, having worked in the industry for over 38 years as a property professional in Ireland.
Paul held the position of Head of the Property Valuation Team in IBRC’s NAMA unit, and Property Manager in the Asset Management Team in Bank of Ireland.
For ten years, Paul successfully established himself as a specialist commercial property surveyor offering clients a personal service tailored to their needs, matching his specialist knowledge and skills with an understanding of the client’s needs.
Paul is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (FSCSI) and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Paul also has a Diploma in Arbitration Law (UCD) and was elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a member of the Presidents Panel in the SCSI.

David has 18 years’ experience in commercial property and has worked with some of Ireland’s leading institutions, developers, Banks and funds. As Divisional Director of the Agency Division at QRE he advises landlords and tenants on all aspects of office leasing and acquisition.
He has a wide range of experience across multiple market sectors having worked in Commercial Agency, Professional Services and Asset Management before specialising in office in 2015, during which time David has been responsible for developing lease and sales strategies for the marketing and acquisition of some of Dublin’s highest profile office schemes.

Sarah Byrne joined QRE in 2018 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Property Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology. She is a Qualified Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Sarah has over 9 years’ experience in the property industry having worked with our Sister company BidX1 for almost three years and CME Auctioneers prior to that. Her areas of expertise include residential sales, valuations and appraisals, residential lettings, commercial lettings and auctions (both online and in room). Sarah has also taken part in large valuation projects of residential properties across the country.

Timothy joined the QRE team after graduating from Ulster University in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Property Investment, Appraisal and Development. Jonathan joined QRE in 2021 after graduating from Technological University Dublin with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Property Economics. Jonathan now works within the Valuation and Advisory departments specialising in valuations of commercial property and development land for lending institutions as well as private clients.
David joined QRE in March 2021 and holds a BSC in Property Valuation and Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology and a Masters in Finance from University of Limerick. He is a Chartered Surveyor with the SCSI and RICS and is a Registered Valuer.
David has over 15 years experience in commercial property having worked previously in CBRE, DTZ and Kelly Walsh. His particular area of expertise is Red Book Valuations and has experience in all asset classes. His clients include all the main financial institutions and various funds.

Colleen has over 15 years’ experience in both the residential and commercial property markets. She is an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Colleen started her property career in Residential and moved to Commercial in 2014. She has worked in both Commercial agency and valuations and has assisted in numerous portfolio valuation projects along with large asset disposals for key clients.

Hugh has over 40 years’ experience, focusing on the retail market. He was a director of Lisney for 20 years before stepping down from the board in April 2014 and retiring from the firm in March 2019. He is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.
He is a Deputy Chairperson of the Valuation Tribunal. This Tribunal is an independent statutory body which hears appeals against decisions of the Commissioner of Valuation on the valuation and re-valuation of commercial properties for rating purposes under the Valuation Act 2001. It also hears appeals made by owners of derelict sites against the determination by local Authorities of the market values of those sites under the Derelict Sites Act 1990.
He is a member of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the Residential Tenancies Board.
He specialises in Landlord and Tenant matters, particularly pertaining to retail property and regularly act as an expert witness before the courts. He also acts as an Arbitrator and Independent Expert in rent reviews.
His clients include broad range of landlords and occupiers including individual and institutional owners and single, national and multinational tenant occupiers.
