Over the last four months we have seen first-hand the major implications that can result from the poor drafting or misunderstanding of the Rent Review clause. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a renewed focus on Rent Reviews and established a new dynamic in the landlord-tenant relationship.
As you know the Rent Review clause is regarded by many as the most important clause in a lease. In 2009, Section 132 of the Land & Conveyancing Law Reform Act was passed, which effectively abolished upward-only rent reviews with effect from February 2010.
In QRE, we believe there is no substitute for experience when it comes to representing landlords and tenants during the Rent Review process. The QRE professional services team have a proven track record with over sixty years’ experience. Hugh, Paul and Caitriona have provided comprehensive representation during the Rent Review process to a wide spectrum of end users including landlords, tenants and funds for generations.
We place a strong emphasis on communication and relationships, and we are proud to work with some of the country’s leading landlords and corporate tenants.
We would welcome an opportunity to represent you during your next rent review and discuss the added value the experience of the QRE team can deliver to you as a Landlord/Tenant.
